Hi! I’m Tara. Mom of a beautiful boy and girl and wife to my high school sweetheart. I’m also a full-time software developer, hopeful traveler and health and fitness advocate on my second postpartum journey after having my son in July 2018.
Prior to any blogging, I used Instagram to inspire me and I was able to lose 85lbs following the birth of my daughter in 2013. When I fell pregnant with my son in 2020, I abandoned calorie counting, working out and enjoyed every craving I had. I started this blog in 2020 to coincide with my second postpartum journey, where I am working to lose the 85lbs a second time. I had hoped this blog would encourage me to try new recipes and workouts, document my successes and failures as well as teach me a little more about the blogging world. If I add a few items about parenting and the kids too, well, that’s just a bonus of mom life.
